This policy explains what personal data Darta Digital Audio, a Darta Effects brand (CNPJ 25.423.707/0001-31, Rua Manuel Jacinto, 1029, Vila Morse, São Paulo – SP, CEP 05624-001) (“Darta”) processes on the dartadigitalaudio.com / dartadigitalaudio.com.br website and in the Persona plugin, why, and what your rights are. It follows Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) and applies to customers everywhere.

1. Who is responsible

Darta is the data controller. For any privacy matter, including reaching our data protection officer, e-mail contato@dartadigitalaudio.com.br.

2. What we collect

When you buy: name, e-mail, the billing details requested at checkout, your order history and, for fraud prevention, the IP address and browser used for the purchase. Card details are entered directly with PayPal. Darta never receives or stores your card number.

In your account: e-mail, password (stored securely, never in plain text) and the license keys you purchased.

When you activate the plugin: when you click ACTIVATE or DEACTIVATE, Persona sends our server:

• the license key;
• a computer code, calculated from the hardware and irreversibly scrambled. It does not reveal your name or any details of your computer; it only tells us whether it is the same computer;
• the computer name (for example, “STUDIO-PC”), so you and our support team can tell which machine is activated.

The IP address of the connection is used for one hour to limit repeated activation attempts and is not stored with your license key. As with any website, the hosting server also records visits in temporary technical logs.

While you use the plugin: nothing. Persona has no telemetry, does not track your usage and never connects to the internet except when you activate or deactivate your license.

Support: whatever you send us by e-mail.

3. How we use it

• To process your purchase and deliver the download and license key (performance of contract).
• To meet our accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).
• To manage activations and prevent license misuse (performance of contract and legitimate interest).
• To answer support requests and tell you about updates to products you bought.
• To send news and offers by e-mail, only if you opt in, with the option to unsubscribe at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share only what is needed with:

• PayPal and Mercado Pago, to process payments;
• Hostinger, which hosts the website and the license server;
• our invoicing system and accountants;
• authorities, when required by law.

Some of these services store data outside your country, with the safeguards required by law.

5. Cookies

The site uses cookies it needs to work: cart, login, language and security. We currently use no advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools. If that changes, this policy will be updated.

6. How long we keep it

Order and invoice data are kept for the period required by tax law (usually 5 years). License data are kept for as long as the license exists, so you can reactivate Persona whenever you need to. Support e-mails are kept while they are useful for helping you.

7. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to confirm whether we process your data, and to access, correct, export or delete data we are not legally required to keep. You can also ask who we share it with, or withdraw your consent. Just e-mail contato@dartadigitalaudio.com.br. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are never stored in plain text and licenses are digitally signed. No system is 100% secure, but we take care to protect your data appropriately.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with its update date.
