These terms are an agreement between you and Darta Digital Audio, a Darta Effects brand (CNPJ 25.423.707/0001-31, Rua Manuel Jacinto, 1029, Vila Morse, São Paulo – SP, CEP 05624-001) (“Darta”) for the use of Persona: Zero One and future products in the Persona line. By installing or using the software, you agree to them.

1. The license

When you buy Persona, you get a personal, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use it. You are buying the right to use the software, not the software itself: Persona, the amp captured by Darta, the cabinets, reverbs, images and names remain Darta’s property.

2. Activation and computers

• Each license key activates Persona on up to 2 computers that you own or use.
• Activation needs an internet connection once per computer. After that, Persona works offline.
• To move to another computer, deactivate it on the old one from inside the plugin, or ask support.
• On activation, the plugin sends our server the license key, a computer code and the computer’s name. See the Privacy policy for details.

3. Your sound is yours

Everything you record, play or release with Persona belongs to you. Use it on records, live shows, videos, soundtracks and commercial work, with no extra fees and no credit required. (If you want to credit us, we appreciate it.)

4. What you may not do

• Share, sell, rent or publish your license key, or activate it on other people’s computers.
• Distribute the installer, the plugin or its files outside our website.
• Extract, copy or redistribute the captured amp, the cabinet responses, the reverbs or any other Persona content, including to create captures, IRs or competing products.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or circumvent the license protection, except where the law expressly allows it.

5. Captures and IRs you load

Persona loads Neural Amp Modeler captures (NAM and NAM A2) and third-party IRs. You are responsible for having the right to use the files you load. Darta is not affiliated with those files or their authors.

6. Refunds

Order cancellations follow the Refund policy. Once an order is canceled, the license key is deactivated and this license ends.

7. Updates

Darta may release updates with fixes and new features. The terms of each update (free or paid) are announced when it comes out.

8. Warranty and liability

We work hard to make Persona run well. Still, no software is free of bugs. To the extent permitted by law, Darta is not liable for indirect losses, such as lost data, projects or profits, arising from the use of or inability to use Persona. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.

9. Termination

If these terms are breached, especially by sharing a license key, Darta may cancel the license. You may end the license at any time by uninstalling Persona.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
